A Deep Dive Into The Information Ecosystem of Fake News on Facebook

In this research project, my team and I investigated misinformation related to COVID-19 on Facebook by tokenizing and analyzing scholarly articles. Our methodology began with an extensive literature review to identify relevant studies, followed by tokenizing the articles to facilitate detailed analysis.

Utilizing Miro, we created a comprehensive wireframe to visualize our findings and streamline our analytical process. This collaborative tool enabled us to organize data efficiently, identify patterns, and draw insights regarding the dissemination and impact of misinformation on the platform during the pandemic.
